Mangaka Shinobu Kaitani to Start New Serialization
The 16th issue of Weekly Young Magazine announced that Shinobu Kaitani will launch a new manga. Titled Shin Shinchou Kouki: Nobunaga-kun to Watashi, the series will debut with two chapters in the magazine's next issue that will release on March 25.
The official website reveals that the manga will revolve around cloned warlords from Japan's Warring States who are delinquents at a prestigious school.
Kaitani previously drew the psychological series One Outs, which was serialized between November 1998 and August 2006 in Business Jump. It was adapted into a 25-episode TV anime by Madhouse in 2008. Kaitani also published Liar Game that ended in January 2015 with a total of 19 volumes, after being serialized in Young Jump magazine since February 2005. His recent work, Muteki no Hito, initially ran in Weekly Shounen Magazine before it was moved to the Magazine Pocket app in July 2016. The series ended three months later with four volumes.
