Anime Movie 'Ni no Kuni' Announces Additional Cast Members

The official website for the previously announced Ni no Kuni anime movie has announced additional cast member. Animated by OLM, the movie will premiere in Japanese theaters this summer.

Cast
Yoki: Mamoru Miyano (Zombieland Saga)
Gabaras: Kenjirou Tsuda (K project)
Saki, Velsa: Maaya Sakamoto (Monogatari series)
Balton: Kouichi Yamadera (Souten no Ken series)
Danpa: Yuki Kaji (Fukigen na Mononokean series)

An AnimeJapan 2019 stage event for the movie will be held on March 23. Mamoru Miyano (Yoki), Yuki Kaji (Danpa), and Akihiro Hino (executive producer, original planner, script writer) will attend for a talk show. More cast members will also be announced as a Line Live Seiyuu Audition is currently taking place.

Almost these cast are worked together in anime and japanese dubs, such as tokyo ghoul, and nanatsu no taizai (only yamadera who isn't appeared in both series), but he reunion with other casts in illumination entertaiment films, such as minion, pets and sing (the exception for kenjiro, since he never appeared in that series, but he reunion with yamadera in 1 piece as yongo and rosinante)

let's go!!! Ni No Kuni was a hella underrated game in my opinion :)))

But what Ni no Kuni game is based on? Because I played the first Ni no Kuni and I don't remember those characters? And I haven't seen much of the latest game.
