Anime Project of 'Itai no wa Iya nano de Bougyoryoku ni Kyokufuri Shitai to Omoimasu.' Light Novel in Progress

Publishing giant Kadokawa announced an anime adaptation of Yuumikan and Koin's Itai no wa Iya nano de Bougyoryoku ni Kyokufuri Shitai to Omoimasu. (I Hate Being in Pain, so I think I'll Make a Full Defense Build) light novel series on Thursday.

Synopsis
After receiving an invitation from her friend Risa Shiromine, Kaede Honjou begins playing the VRMMO game New World Online as the character Maple. Lacking knowledge of the game, she allocates all her status points to defense. As a result, her movements are slow, she cannot use magic, and even gets attacked by the rabbits. However, she obtains a skill called "Absolute Defense" due to maxing out her vitality points, and a counter skill that kills in a single hit. A "mobile fortress style" novice with a poisonous skill that makes all attacks invalid and overrides all obstacles, she goes off to adventures, disregarding her irregularities.

Yuumikan originally launched the comedy sci-fi novel on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in May 2016, which has since garnered over 60 million views. Kadokawa began publishing the novel with illustrations by Koin (Haiyore! Nyaruko-san) last September. The fifth volume is scheduled for a December 10 release.

A manga adaptation by Jirou Oimoto began its serialization in Comp Ace magazine in May 2018. Kadokawa published the first compiled volume on November 24.

for my opinion i think it was better compared to sao it was light hearted and was fun to read

To those of you who didn't read the novel "this is not an isekai but VRMMO" but it's not like sao trap in a game thing. It's more into games yes games events, doing quest, leveling up to get skills or finding one by killing monsters. And it has that yuri vibe so yeah i'm hype for this

Not particularly keen about this show after reading the synopsis, but I will come to a decision when more news regarding this show comes.
Overpowered main character and Isekai, is what I can infer from the synopsis and that’s not enough to convince me, after all.
