Well, consider what you said. Japan should start focus on legal streaming websites. Japan has dTV, along with Netflix Japan, Amazon Japan, Hulu Japan and more.

Sales have been in such constant decline that I'm going to start treating 5k sellers like you would treat a 10k two years ago.

I even doubt anime like this even going to have season 2.

Grand Blue adaptation is avg but when compared to Manga it's a disappointment.
It lacks production value, the animation,and comedy direction.

Reading Manga was far better experience for me.

this is just weekly sales on 24-30 september... so, dont be so disappointed just bcoz your fav anime doesnt reach top 5, yet.

if you want you fav anime get great dvd or BD sales, then invite your family or your friends to buy it..

These are a little better but still not as good :/

if you see the actual price for Isekai Maou BD. it’s a whopping 14.000 fuc*ing yen!. the fact that it’s 14.000¥ (15.120¥ if include tax) blu ray and it managed to sell that much is wild. ecchi harem anime is a powerful thing

for the comparison, Yuragi no Yuuna san vol. 1 price is 7000¥, and you can see the amount it’s sold is just like doubled of Isekai Maou

and one thing to be noted too, Grand Blue and Isekai Maou BD are released in 28 september, so it’s just only been 2 days if we look at this list (24-30 september) but i think pre-order is a thing so that doesn’t really matter

but yeah, i guess it’s still low, i dunno. as long as it’s above 1000 it’s nice think

Cool to see Free! on the list, seems like it's still selling in Japan. BD sales have been kinda declining lately, I remember back when Free! sold like 20k or something. Then again bd/dvd sales are only one branch of the total income. But maybe in this particular case it also has to do with the fact that the 3rd season wasn't that good, so I hope the 4th one is a big improvement.
Also damn those Grand Blue sales :(
