TV Anime 'Tsurune: Kazemai Koukou Kyuudoubu' Announces Additional Staff and Cast Members

The official website for the previously announced upcoming Tsurune: Kazemai Koukou Kyuudoubu TV anime has announced additional staff and cast members. Animated by Kyoto Animation, the anime is slated for this fall via NHK G. For convenience, the information released in June is also included below.

a lot of seiyuu i'm not too familiar with... with the exception of kensho, ishikawa, uemura and asanuma. but i'm pretty damn excited. i hope it's kind of like free! but less dramatic and more like a slice of life like kimi to boku

The boys are not exactly cute as novel illustrations. I can't complain.
Anime artstyle feels warmer I like it. That cast selection is interesting.

It's a KyoAni work so at least the visuals will look consistent but I'm not really interested enough in how everything else is looking. I'm not really a fan of Free and this is looking like much the same except archery. I may revisit this if I hear good news about it but ehh it's not worth my concern atm.

While the looks are good, I don't exactly feel much when it comes to this particular show. Oh well. It just comes off as... meh. But its a debut so who knows.

Not really, but it's a sports anime from KyoAni full of guys. The direction in which this is heading seems similar, though there are less opportunites in archery to take your shirt off.

Art style seems more realistic (or simpler?) than usual KyoAni anime. But it'd be nice to see something focusing on archery for once.

As expected, the PV has good animation. Still worried about the directing though, not pessimistic, since this is his directorial debut.
