'Piano no Mori' TV Anime Announces Second Season for Winter 2019
The official website for the TV anime adaptation of Piano no Mori has announced a second season for the series. It will be broadcast in Winter 2019. An illustration by the anime's character designer Sumie Kinoshita commemorating the second season announcement has also been revealed.Makoto Isshiki serialized the manga series in now-defunct Young Magazine Uppers magazine between August 1998 and November 2002. It resumed serialization in Morning in April 2005, where it ended in November 2015 with total of 26 volumes. A movie adaptation by studio Madhouse premiered in July 2007. The TV anime's first season by studio Fukushima Gainax was broadcast on NHK G, which ended on Monday at 12 episodes.
