Oh, that's sad. I wish it could get a new season, despite the main, I found the series very entertaining.

Look it does not matter when it was said, bottom line is we wont get another one till next year. This cause maru has been busy with a lot of things lately. we had s2 aired this year as well as the upcoming s3. In addition to that the amount of pages is equal to 2 ln into one book(this vol is not even ln technically). Also he has to write a multitude of bonus stories and drama cds to include with the blu ray releases, so it is no wonder he has not the time for another volume.
Keep in mind at the end of they day, Maru is an office worker with a lot of hours and he is more of a part timer. The same thing happend with s1 after vol 9 got released the next volume was delayed by over a year cause of all the work he had to do and bonus stuff included. Just be happy with what we got.

I like it very much, as the MC actually has to work extremely hard to win the heart of the girl he wants and doesn't get a harem so easily like other LN protagonists who look handsome or has average or above average looks, and this is due to his face being below average in terms of looks.
Not ugly, but just too plain and below average that most girls would rather prefer a better looking guy even though such handsome guys are not as strong as this ugl....um..plain-looking MC.
Therefore, I like this LN as it's quite realistic and the MC actually has to work hard and make an effort to get a GF. I highly recommend this novel to anyone here sick and tired of stories where MC easily attracts many girls without having to put much effort.
I can understand that, as I too would choose a pretty but clumsy girl over an intelligent and strong but ugly girl if I don't know such a girl that well enough. At the end of the day, looks and appearances are quite important especially for first impression, right ?
