'Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu' English Dub Cast Announced

The English dub cast for Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu (Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-) was announced by Funimation during their Kawaii Kon panel on Saturday. The company will ship the first part of the 25-episode series in Summer.

Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu adapts Tappei Nagatsuki and Shinichirou Ootsuka's fantasy light novel that began publishing under the MF Bunko J imprint in January 2014. The anime adaptation by White Fox was broadcast in Spring 2016, and was simulcast by Crunchyroll. Yen Press holds the license in North America and shipped volume six of the light novel on February 27.

Te be fair this is just Sakana-san outing herself as a Rem fan, the announcement has Emilia listed directly after Subaru. (Also to be absolutely fair, the announcement could have been changed later on the Funimation website, but this seems like the more likely interpretation.)

Took them long enough to give this one a dub. But I hope Subaru's despair is portrayed as well as the anime did.

According to ANN, apparently Todd Haberkorn is voicing Betelgeuse.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was true, considering he absolutely crushes it in the "psychotic villain" department.

Wow!!! Great news for those who are looking for an english dub of this series... (ohh let me see how will it run the Episode 18 in english DUB!!!) hahahaha 😂😂😂...

Anyway i hope the next news that i am reading is when the OVa will finally be aired and THE REAL NEWS I AM HOPING SO MUCH!!! A SEASON 2 of this SERIES!!!

I've waited for a long time for an English dub of Re:Zero and here it is. But I found out about some of the names for the English dub cast 2 days ago when I visited Rem's page, as I've always been anticipating who her VA in the English dub would be. :P I also like how Rem's name is listed first before Emilia in the OP, lol. ;D

Just noticed that some of the dubbers for the main cast don't have plenty of roles yet, particularly for the voices of Emilia and Subaru. But I'm already satisfied about the choice for Rem's VA in the English dub. x) She's also voiced Elaine from Nanatsu no Taizai, Itsuki from Yuuki Yuuna, Akane from Durarara!!x2, Chisaki from Nagi no Asukara, and Kirin from Gakusen Toshi Asterisk. There's also Iori from Charlotte who has the same seiyuu as Rem in the original Japanese cast. :P

It's about time this anime got an English dub. Now who's going to take the role of that lunatic villain? xD

Hooray for Re:Zero getting an English dub! When will Konosuba ever get an English dub? When will Gochiusa get an English dub? And what about an English dub for Sekai Seifuku: Bouryaku no Zvezda? -.-
