I just wish they could go through and adapt all the main games, in the order they were released. They could even do the Phoenix Wright crossover and give both franchises a bit of justice.
I just fear if this anime has Katrielle in it, we may not get Professor Layton..... but looking at that poster....please be good....
Yeah, I don't think we're going to see Layton since this seems to be based on the latest game (unless Layton does appear in the game, I haven't played it so I'm know)

Plus, you can't expect the same level of attention for a series of full-length TV episodes than for a work of a few minutes made over several months

Rip Haikyuu season 4
Yeah, dont think about Haikyuu in 2018, specially if this bit about the series being 50 episodes is true :
''Singapore-based distribution and production company Bomanbridge Media announced in November that it will distribute Level 5 Abby's original productions in Asian territories, including a Lady Layton Mystery Journey series. The announcement listed the series at 50 episodes with each a runtime of 30 minutes.''

aren't those designs from the original game or something?
I believe they look like the original designs of the game, while I have not played it I can see its similar from what I've recalled.

Kinda disappointed P.A. Works didn't follow the franchise. I would have watched it if it was done by P.A. Works. That studio however....
I mean sure, LIDENFILMS kinda suck but they did a couple of good stuff personally (Arslan Senki and Udon no Kuni) and the staff behind so far is pretty solid (specially the director).
But its 50 episodes tho, so its still a little bit worrying, dunno how the studio will do for 50 episodes.
