I hope the whole production staff, studio, and cast make it good. Considering the director, I won't expect a masterpiece or even a great adaptation. But I'm so so so excited nevertheless. It will be summer (the start of the dry season) in my place when it starts airing. April is too soon, but still not soon enough!!!

Damn it!!!!

Sonofabitch!!!!

This. The adaptation would be hard to do properly as it is, but this is pretty much saying "you can't possibly fuck it up harder, so do your worst". Next they'll tell us it's only 13 episodes.

Reading these replies infuriates me to no end. Why can't you guys just be happy this gets an adaptation and not be so entitled ? I mean there are a lot of other fandoms that would welcome a new season with open arms without any complains but here you are killing all the hype.

Because being pragmatic and not wanting something mediocre is a bad thing right?

Many people are disappointed with the VN, I wouldn't say it's the most satisfying format when it's missing key information (some of which from drama CD..) and has some questionable plot points/twists. Hope Chiyomaru makes these changes for the better.

So much hype about this I can't wait to watch this!

People are going to be hyped either way. Read the VN, it's the most satisfying format, and will show you why the adaptation will not be the 10/10 blockbuster hit everyone is expecting it to be. I didn't say I wouldn't enjoy it. Chiyomaru told people months ago that there's going to be some distinct changes to look out for in the anime adaptation.

It is confirmed to be the same script writer, tsubasa just the staff that has actually changed.

Ah, I see. Thank you for the confirmation.

The change of director is... something I guess. Well, I do hope for the better if anything. Btw I think the reason why they didn't hired the previous director is because he's working on something else. So of course, that would make sense.

But it could have been selected with someone better but eh.

Wait, there's no confirmation about the scriptwriter? I thought it's confirmed to be the same as the original one. Maybe that's a false news, I guess.

A new and unproven director is quite a big concern, but I won't judge it until it actually airs.

Seeing the PV once is enough for me to notice the difference between this and Steins;Gate (2011). All I'm hoping is this will be great even with the change of directors.

Dec 14, 2017 6:08 PM by Shineee_

I can't be more happy!!! Need to watch Steins;Gate again before 0 starts!!! Oh yeah, El. Psy. Congroo.

Spring 2018. It's sooner than I think. Why did they change the director? Anyway, I'm still excited about this news.
