Yakumo-san anime adaptation, hopefully.

the only ways it will get adapted if it's aget big name hand on it... will it noitamina or NHK... it's just too strange for anime audience! still hoping for it tho... since it sales good also awards nominated...

Fire Punch cracking top 50? Wow... it's the worst manga I'm currently reading and never would I have thought it is actually successful to a degree.

it got awards nomination btw, THRICE..

Actually the decline is in shounen jump rankings..It always used to be in top 7 or something like that but now it can't get past Number 10, and there's a really good reason behind that but in terms of sales? not that much

So there is no cancellation in the near future ??

nah.... yes, the rangking getting worse, but still not dangerous enough in axed area... also WSJ rangking barely had thing to do with anime adaptation or tankubon volume sales... but yeah, not gonna happen right after they put investment after it... a year after anime ended tho, it's when you need to starting get concerned about rankings...

It's great to see the two editions of Saiyuki Reload Blast on the list.

People say shokugekis no soma declined lately but I don't see how it's still going strong some one explain for me please...

It used to sell 300-400K in the first week but digital sales are a big part of the total sales now so almost every series is down in physical sales.

467,076 Shokugeki no Souma Vol.14
431,255 Shokugeki no Souma Vol.15
The shitfest known as Azami arc started, people got more curious cause umpteenth evil shounen dad hurt their Erina-tama:
543,642 Shokugeki no Souma Vol.16
533,625 Shokugeki no Souma Vol.17

304,750 Shokugeki no Souma Vol.26
And the suffering still continues. It's not digital sales or anything, the Amazon ratings are also dropped considerably. The manga had a great niche in WSJ as a cooking "sports manga" with likeable characters, fun rivalry, fun concept, that was a breath of fresh air. Then it ultimately got turned into "saving the world from evil (Here, your plot armors, main characters!)".

But the anime is going strong they even made season 3 that means it's still just fine...

Nov 10, 2:47 AM by Kja95

I am just glad Owari no Seraph is still doing fine.

Nov 9, 5:53 PM by Zilch_216

It's nice to see Akagami no Shirayukihime already selling 104k combined, I preordered the special edition for the included art book (my first Japanese version of a manga).
The timing is a bit unfortunate though because it's only 3 days in, would have been great to see it rank even higher with a full week of sales :/

Nov 9, 5:21 PM by RiukixD

Every time One Piece is scheduled to release, we all know that we don't even need to see who's on #1 with how many millions sold.

33. *,*23,126 *,*43,474 Mujaki no Rakuen Vol.12

Not bad lol.

48. *,*16,909 *,127,850 Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai: Tensai-tachi no Renai Zunousen Vol.7

Seriously, anime when?

Because the manga is much better and less plot holes than the anime.

I know, but he's been selling little to be DB

The sale number is pretty good, beat a lot of other manga. Since it is not drawn by Toriyama and the era of DB is pretty much over, it won't reach the same popularity as the original DB.

Nov 9, 4:49 AM by Himawari9

Lovely to see Shokugeki no Soma still going strong, even the spin-off which I must get around selling relatively well.

Great second week for Mujaki no Rakuen which is fab to see. Nice to see Hinomaruzumou up there as well, surprised Jump kept it going despite the rather lackluster sales, must be popular with the magazine readers. Really hope it gets an anime adaptation one day.

Good lord, One Piece manages to sell 1.5 mil copies in a week. Even with the declining manga industry, it still goes strong.

Man love one piece, and good to see Oda working dedicatedly on it. Now if Togashi and Muira could learn something, that would be wonderful.

Actually 1.5 million copies were sold in only 4 days
