Granblue fantasy was a pleasant surprise, deserved popularity

Granblue Fantasy on fire....

Not that it's surprising but the numbers are still impressive.

Akashic Records' LN has been selling well so it's poultry disc sales aren't gonna matter much.

Re:Creators selling sub 3k is pretty bad however. Especially since actually has some budget and a lot of hype behind it. It's an original show to boot so you can't even justify with sales from other sources.

Writing was on the wall for SukaSuka since didn't make much of a splash east or west in terms of mind share. There also too many strong shows last seasons that overshadowed it. So yeah not unexpected. The LN got little in the way of boosts too.

Good to see Youjo Senki selling well, I hope S2 will come next year.

Welp, looks like we are going to get more crappy mobile game adaptations in the future based on those performances.
yup like how the early 2000s were winning with VN adaptations.

I bought Vol.1 of Eromanga Sensei, comes with an all volumes storage box but it had weak pack ins beyond that, its essentially just the show. Kudos to the Eromanga Sensei community for sticking it to the haters though the Japanese community probably has nothing as shitty to put up with compared to the pitiful degenerates the Western community has who cries and moans about everything.

Capitalism and freedom of expression FTW ~ "Anime is dying" "Japan has shit taste" Fuck you.

Really happy for Eromanga-sensei.

LOL Sword Oratoria! I blame Lefiya.

I would say now that the power of mobage is strong. Kinda wish that Bandori launch mobage first before the anime.

Not really, Bahamut has game codes for GranBlue (LOL) and still sells horrible.

I checked why Bahamut sold poorly
the serial codes contain 2 SR characters Amira & Rita.
so as you can see they are not worth the price of a BD compared to granblue's codes. lol

Ero Manga sensei has effort put in. Whether you like it or not, iat the very least does not have two recap episode for an anime with a flimsy plot like Sin aka just watch Queen Blade, or really any fan service anime that are miles better.

Being a fan service anime or having incest, or controversial things does not make something shit. I mean is okay if that not your thing or make you uncomfortable, whatever thats normal. Hell I thought Ero Manga Sensei would be terrible and unfortunately ended up liking it.

That being said I am a bit salty Sin is doing great when is a mess, in almost every category with the only saving grace being the music and Astaroth. I mean there plenty of fan service anime and yet this is doing well wtf. I mean it does show tits unlike Keijo (which otherwise Keijo is a million time better) so I give them that, and does not have male lead, but still wtf. It be like going to mcdonald when Whataburger is right next to it.

My god how did Sin: Nanatsu no Taizai even got 3K? I'm an ecchi fan and I can't deny that thing is hideous and a complete abomination.

Japan confirming once again the rising shit taste they have in anime.
Wow! What a nice way to bash Japan because their passionate minority does not agree with somebody's taste. How elite.
jgames111 said:
Sin is doing decently proving crappy fan service anime (coming from someone who like fan service anime usually) can do great bc people have crap taste.
I don't think it's because of crap taste. It's because of low standards on ecchi.

What is wrong with Eromanga-sensei ?! It has cute and funny character and some good erotic scenes
Haters want more than that. They think those things are cheap, some even think it's revolting.

Eromanga being anywhere in top 10 continues proving awful things about japanese society. Sigh.
Which awful things? The loli thing? The wincest thing? The pandering?
GBF seems to be doing well in spite of Gran having been the protagonist. Another season is bound to happen.
Maybe the ones buying GBF are the fans of the Granblue games, not because of the anime itself but because of the bonus.

Welp, looks like we are going to get more crappy mobile game adaptations in the future based on those performances. Sure, something like Shingeki no Bahamut is half decent but that's pretty much an outlier. Can't say that I'm surprised though.

People getting salty over the Eromanga Sensei sales doing decently Lmao. Salty tears are bliss.

Don't really get the complaint but for this I don't really question it... but oh well, that's just me.

To be completely fair I feel more bad about the fact that SukaSuka and RokuAka didn't do well, of course it's alright I suppose.

Renai Boukun got so many less sales compared to Clockwork Planet... OUUUUCH THAT HURTS.

>Sees Rewrite Vol.10 around here

Oh, it's selling eh... x.x that hurts too, kinda. But at least it's getting some amount of sales compared to what I saw prior.

I mean, it's not like the western community is reacting all that differently. It gets lot of critics, but it's still quite popular everywhere from what I can tell.

At least it is better than boring shit like Oushitsu Kyoushi Haine and Starmyu.

Sin and Eromanga-sensei are not bad at all

Yeah, no.

Japan doesn't have sh*t taste, it's not their fault. It's not our fault either. Joe_g7 was wrong but you're in the wrong too. Just because you don't like shows aimed at women doesn't mean they're boring sh*t.

Can you please stop bashing shows aimed at females all the time?
