Main Cast Members for 'Citrus' Announced

The seventh volume of Citrus manga has announced the main cast members for its anime adaptation on Friday. The release date for the anime adaptation of Saburouta's yuri manga is yet to be revealed.

Cast
Yuzu Aihara: Ayane Taketatsu (Date A Live)
Mei Aihara: Minami Tsuda (Yuru Yuri)
Harumi Taniguchi: Yukiyo Fujii (Sakasama no Patema)
Himeko Momokino: Yurika Kubo (Love Live! School Idol Project)
Matsuri Mizusawa: Shiori Izawa (Witch Craft Works)

And I think it's been a while since Ayane Taketatsu has played a major role. So, looking forward to that too.

If I could, I would give every slice of life/drama to KyoAni and their directors Naoko Yamada and/or Tatsuya Ishihara. But apparently, KyoAni doesn't have the balls to go full yuri. They only like to cocktease with yuri baiting.
If not KyoAni, I hope studio Feel could pick it up. Their style of directing and visuals are quite similar to KyoAni.

Oh yeah, there was Dagashi Kashi last year. That show bored the hell out of me, so I completely forgot about it.

I expect for the studio to be very decent when making this anime. No extreme fan service. No sensei more time than he is supposed to be there. No random guys that will try to stop the relationship. No tenticle shit or rape or fanservice boy shit. If this dares to be slice of life without kisses and more its not citrus. Not a 10 minute anime. With a hot sountrack just like Strawberry panic. I need it to last at least 20-30 minutes. I need real material that at last have the honor to be call a yuri after so many years of waiting for a decent one.

Yeah she's done her fair share of cold female characters, apart from Sasara another that comes to mind and I liked was Anna from Nijiiro Days

Really solid voice cast, so far so good! <3 Now just tell me the studio is three-quarters decent, it will have full-length episodes, and then I'll start getting my hopes up :D

Technically that seiyuu cast from Drama CD too

I think the reason Matsuri VA(Sayaka Horino) change to Shiori Izawa is more on popularity factor
