I will never understand how Strike the Blood sells so much. XD

Bang Dream has pretty good sales, has it caught on in Japan?
Youjo Senki continues to do well.

IBO S2 has dropped so hard compared to S1's sales. :(

YoI ends its run with a bang.

Bang Dream is pretty popular as a mobile game but I don't think it really popular as an anime. It is hardly talked about among anime fans and almost 0 recognition from the mainstream point of view.

The sales ranking for mobile game is often sitting at between Idol Master(10th ish on average) and Love Live(30th ish on average)

This is current Sales ranking of Google Play in Japan
6th Idol Master
15th Bang Dream
63th Love Live School Festival

Oh, the mobile game has gained that much recognition? That's good. I only play Love Live but if Bandori's sales are above LL then that's pretty awesome. It'd be nice if the anime gets a little more popular as well.

Glad to see YOI sell like a beast as always.

Bandori GBP is just easy to play. There are no stamina system so you can play however much you like. There are also multiplayer system that can give you more item and it also let you play till the end even if you fail on a song.

The cover is getting better as well each passing week. Right now out of the three newly announced cover we have two SnK cover one is Guren no Yumiya and the other one is new season OP.

Yeah,it is a lot easier to play than love live ,it has more traditional rythme game feel such as taiko no tatsujin or drum mania.

Also cover of popular anime songs/bands such as bump of chicken or sobakasu made it popular too

Bands boom because of GBP sounds stupid though.
probably 20-30 millions people listen to rock music already in Japan and AU of GBP is 500k at best.
Well becoming trend setter is hard. The aim is too high I know but I still think they are still doing great at what they are good at that is creating a fun game.

Also I love Tentai Kansoku.

The OVAs sold much better than the TV anime. Why would they go back to doing TV anime?

More visibility if aired on a TV channel or someone offered to partially fund a good chunk of it, you never know why they might return to a series format. It's more so on a selfish level though as TV series format much easier to follow since you get simulcasts instead of waiting. Unless they include subs on the BDs though which sadly not enough do.
I wish it was on TV too but they don't care about us.

Exposure won't be any higher. Rarely is after the first season.

With the health of the seiyuu will they even bother?

Nope they say it will start another band boom. At the very least though the game is still consistently at the top grossing of Japanese app.

oh ok, good thing the game is doing well at least

So does anybody have an idea how the spring titles are doing with the pre-orders aside from grandblue?

granblue and idolmaster will probably be the only 10k sellers this season
aside from those two only eromanga and snk are doing above average (with snk underperforming) and frame arm girls might do well too since its bds come with model kits
the rest of the shows aren't doing good, apparently otakus are busy with kf and granblue rn

That was S2. Hoping it goes for S3.

Ah well you know what I mean. S2 in terms of TV series not an OVA series.

I do not understand how boring show like Bang Dream and Haifuri OVA sell too much. Strike the blood is a lot better than those two

23. **,398 **,398 Fuuka Vol.3 Limited Edition

Lol RIP Fuuka even though it deserves the amount in all honesty.

Not surprising by the overall list to be completely honest.

May 30, 2017 8:49 AM by removed-user

YOI has had such an incredible run. 63k in the final volume's first week, if it holds well it might even get close to or surpass Vol. 1's 74k. For an original anime, with absolutely no previous fanbase and barely any hype and expectations going in, averaging around 60k per volume is fantastic.

That said, man I really wish Koe no Katachi sold more :/

Yes, obviously due to the bundled concert ticket.

Yeah otherwise it would've sold 7-8k like Puchimas still higher than almost any short.
