TV Anime 'Hitorijime My Hero' Additional Cast Members Announced

The official website for Hitorijime My Hero has announced additional cast members. The cast that announced this time will be different from drama CD version. The anime is slated for Summer 2017.

Natsuo: Wataru Hatano (Yuri!!! on ICE)
Tsunehito Houjou: Takayuki Kondou (Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae wo Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai.)
Tsuyoshi Yanabe: Yuto Adachi (Oushitsu Kyoushi Haine)
Mitsuru Fukushige: Daiki Yamashita (Fukumenkei Noise)
Jirou Yoshida: Seiichirou Yamashita (Orange)

A pre-screening of the first episode will be held on July 2. Voice actors Tomoaki Maeno (Kousuke Ooshiba), Toshiki Masuda (Masahiro Setagawa), Shinnosuke Tachibana (Asaya Hasegura), Yoshitsugu Matsuoka (Kensuke Ooshiba), Wataru Hatano (Natsuo) and Takayuki Kondou (Tsunehito Houjou) will attend the event for a talk show. A live performance of the opening theme song by Hatano will also be hosted at the event.

Saying "you haven't watched..." is somewhat of a problematic, you're implying something that is against what I said from the beginning. Saying "you will not watch..." seems to be more appropriate.

I don't really need to see the series, I just have to point out what I think it will be or what the things that I can take-out from the synopsis... :/

I feel kinda sad how I won't get to hear Yamabe's (Yamabe Tsuyoshi, mistakenly translated as Tanabe Tsuyoshi) funny voice. Not to mention Shige, but also Tsunehito (again, mistakenly translated name. In the news it's Houjou Shoujin while it is actually Houjou Tsunehito). His seiyuu in the drama CDs fit him so well and I can still hear him saying "ジョーク、イッツアメリカンジョーク！！". Dunno about Natsuo because he didn't talk that much during the first two dramas.

Well, the new cast doesn't sound that bad either but I wonder why they changed these ones for the anime, when there's going to be third drama CD next month with the same old cast. Hmmmh. Oh well.

Waiting for proper PV, can't wait to see Masahiro animated after all these manga chapters (๑´ㅂ`๑) He deserves all the best.

haha, i planned to read the manga after watching the anime..just don't hv high expectation tho but surely will since i've read Hitorijime Boyfriend xD

Yeah, kinda bothering me because the artstyle bit different from the manga, hope this studio and cast can adapted it well, it's one of my fav, it's cute romcom series and there's no trope *cough*rape*cough* like ur usual BLmanga, also all the supporting char are loveable and hilarious XD you should check it sometimes :3
