Really? I don't have the data in front of me right now, but aside from vol 1 S2, vol 2 S2 seems be doing worse than vol 2 S1. If that's really the case here, I hope it's not a precedent. :/
Yes. S1V2 week 2 was 600 and S2V2 week 2 is 1400. (Though it is still behind in v2 total)
Okay, that's good. I was expecting the 2nd vol to be around 10k, but hopefully it will maintain a 9k average.

Also, I was hoping Bungou Stray Dogs would of done better.

No idea what people like about that gay in ice show. Mediocre at best. There is much better sport show out their (like Kuroko no Basket), and I don't think any of these deserve such high sales
wow almost if people have different tastes than you, its crazy right?

Hoping Konosuba can get 9k average for ss2. Seems like we won't get the 3rd

@Symphyon In this case, in every season almost 7 shows of 10 fall in a commercial sense, if I understood correctly.
Ahh well yeah. I actually looked back a bit but yeah I got it now.

That is, you can say that he commercially failed? Well, I hope that it was considered a niche project.
yes. it's a big commercial failure, i think the only show in the semicolon series that wasn't a commercial failure is steins;gate
Well, if you calculate the money earned by the gate, then they will be enough for 10 more such projects)

Anything that technically sells below 1k could be considered as a failure as far as I'm concerned with how sales work so yeah.

it has game codes, main reason for high sales, if the other vol dont have those game codes you will see a huge drop in sales after it.
Very very nice konosuba week 2. Much better than S1. Everything else seems pretty normal. GBF had a rough second week and YoI is keeping with its godly holds. Notable Love Live Sunshine absence despite the second event ticket raffle starting two weeks ago. Guess that one is really dead.
When say "dead", I don't mean poor selling. Obviously any show with a 50k+ average isn't a poorly selling show. When I say "dead", I just mean that it's done. It went two weeks during an event raffle <400 discs sold. Whatever prudence people had about how high it can climb is finally over. (And boy was it a long journey) In hindsight though, there wasn't really any way for the event tickets to give enough of a boost. YoI is going to end up with a 60k+ average and that's just way too high for a series with 2 35k volumes to touch. It's not that sunshine did poorly at all though, YoI just did really really well. It's going to have a higher non ticket average than Love Live S2 and Osomatsu- you can't really fault sunshine for being 2nd to that.

I really didn't expected Granblue Fantasy to sell THAT high.

Trinity Seven Movie sales are even worse than TV !!! I was hopping for 2nd season, but there is no chance with those shiity sales

Bungou Stray Dogs sales look much lower than 1st season or early volumes
You just answered your own question.
