TV Anime 'Clione no Akari' Staff and Cast Members Announced

The official website for previously announced Clione no Akari has revamped and announced staff and cast members. The TV anime is slated for Summer 2017 via Tokyo MX, Tochigi TV and BS Fuji.

Hmm based off this alone, clearly, the studio name is a bad decision, but the character designs look cute. AND hey look a trailer. Guess I am off to that thread lol

Lets be honest here... that promotional key poster and current character designs sheets don't scream quality from a production standpoint.

I'm not sure what to expect since I've never heard of this web novel before, but I'll give it a try.

These character designs look horrible. I'll be surprised if this is even good. Outside of a couple voice actors, the staff is made of a bunch of nobodies. Dropped before I even picked it up.

That vague synopsis makes me not want to watch. It might end up being a borefest. It sounds like a festival anime but if it is, does it need 11-13 episodes or better yet be full length? Girlfriend (Note) centered on Cinderella but it didn't even have 6 episodes and was ok.

The voice acting line-up looks pretty good, the anime studio must be a quick creation to be able to start producing this anime with a specific staff team. Sounds like an intriguing anime, kind of interested in it since it's focusing on a theme not very popular in anime, let alone a common theme. I'm actually looking forward to watching the teasers to see how the voice actors are going to be portraying the characters since most of them are from "prestigious" anime with good roles.

Okay now we got a lot of awkward names for studios. This isn't as awkward compared to the other two

First one being Nut (which made Youjo Senki), now Memes or Meme (I remember this from twitter about someone founding a studio and named it like that iirc) And now drop? Wat. Okay then... Uh wow.

I won't question much on this one, so for a newbie (assuming this is a newbie studio, correct me) its... kind of awkward, and it would be pretty weird as well if someone drops things from their end and you get what I mean at this point. It would be more ironic if they actually drop hard in production as well... which would sound mean as fuck, but at the same time kind of hilarious.

Second the cast doesn't look too bad I guess, they look decent enough as a selection, but I want to see clips at a later point to hear how they will sound like.

Third... I don't know what to say about the staff. Mostly because I don't know them for jack shit Lmao. My god this is kinda hard to go and have some look to it or idea. x.x
