TV Anime 'Osomatsu-san' to Receive Second Season

The official website for TV Anime Osomatsu-san has announced that it will receive a second season. The announcement was made within Short Episode that screened during the selective screening today. An announcement CM is also available. Main staff and cast members will reprise. More information will be revealed at a later time.

Osomatsu-san is original sequel to Osomatsu-kun which aired for 25 episodes between October 2015 and March 2016. The series has also received a special episode due to the problematic first and third episodes, as well as BD & DVD shorts. The anime returned with a special collaborates with Japan Racing Association, which was aired on December 2016. A selective screening event was held today.

My only wish for it is to have the show have better animation (thanks to it's poorly drawn beginning in episode 5), goodly portrayed characters and toned down abuse humor.

Oh my god! YES! Osomatsu-san is my number one favourite comedy anime and i felt like i had no reason to think there would be more than perhaps some special here and there.

I don't know why i thought that when it was such a huge success but i guess they didn't hint at it at all and sometimes things are just too good so people end when on top because it's impossible to beat.... *cough*half life 3*cough*

I just hope they don’t make it too funny only to have to tone it down afterwards like they did with the first season. That first episode was a blast, never in my life I laughed so hard like I did back then, but the second half of the season wasn’t nearly as fun as the first.

I was always hoping for a 2nd season <3 i remember waiting for each monday to watch new episodes straight when they came out each monday!

Been a fan since oct 2015 and i'm never stopping!

Well I ain't the biggest fan of S1 but I'll give it a go again since I don't think it was that bad. Hopefully the comedy gets better at least to me. =w=
