It was actually released online up to chapter 4, before making its way to publications to commemorate Iris and Megumin's popularity. I believe there's 5 chapters right? I'm not sure. So I think people have to buy the LN to know the ending to the story. So technically it's a Web Novel turned Light Novel series.

This so-called "4th volume" actually happens in between volume 8-9 and relates to volume 10. Technically it's a sequel to Bakuen wo! spin-off, but it's actually different, because the first 3 is a prequel while this one is a story that happens in between the main stories, filling the gap of what Megumin was doing.

Well it was yuNS who was translating it, but he/she is busy now with translating the main series in another "fanfic" site. I have no idea why he/she also listed it as "completed" lol
