I think it's safe to say the old art was better.

w a o w thats a surprise
always wanted to read the VN
hopefully the remake on that front is an update on the graphics/engine and not an entire retelling of the story

Sounds nice.... makes me wish for a Eve: Burst Error anime adaptation.

Hopefully it turns into something decent, if the remake of vn doesn't get PC release, I probably will never play it anyway ;_;

Ok I started VN yesterday and all that I can say - IT'S AWESOME. Original art is far better than 'refreshed' one ( I prefer 2000+ character design in 99% cases). Soundtrack is brilliant, story superb (its 3am and I'm still reading it, which is pretty spectacular for me, I like going sleep rather early, before midnight in most cases). Translation is decent too. If they decide to make more than 20 episodes, hire a proper director, and the studio will be able to do a proper art (which is rather possible for Feel, I love their art and animation), then it will be probably anime of the decade. I hope that they won't cut off all the sexual things, it's a pretty important for this plot (no, it's not a joke or irony).

Lol at 4 titles having less than 100 votes and being ranked higher than ones with 4000-1000.
Well they don't have any minimum vote count and don't use the bayesian rating system so yeah you should probably just ignore Chaos;Child x3 and Eve Burst Error

Also seeing BSD1 up there but not BSD2 is pretty strange..

Baldr Sky Drive 2 is in, just not actually top 15 which I screenshotted. The ranking list is very long and I can't screenshot the entire list.

In fact, Drive 2 is right below Muramasa at #16

look like they upgrading a lot huh...

OK, I'm waiting for it. Mages and Feel + messing with time/dimensions + awesome OST. It can't be bad.

Sounds interesting. Going to try.

Yeah that looks about right. I would've expected WA2 to swap places with it by now

Yeah this is pretty huge for sure. YU-NO is pretty much to VNs what Evangelion was to anime for its time. Has to be considered the most famous visual novel of the 1990s. The game itself hasn't aged very well honestly, but the upcoming remake of it next year should be pretty hype and seeing a modern anime of it could be really good as well

This one sounds oddly familiar to Time Travel Shoujo from last season... Hopefully it'll be better?

Dec 26, 2016 10:43 PM by HecticLeo

Sounds like it could be quite an interesting one to follow whenever it eventually airs.
