Sixth Season of 'Natsume Yuujinchou' Announced

Following the conclusion of the Fall 2016 anime Natsume Yuujiinchou Go on Tuesday, it was announced that a sixth season of the series will air in 2017.

The official website also announced that there will be two special episodes to be bundled in fourth and fifth volumes of Go, to be released in March 22, 2017 and April 26, 2017, respectively. The first is titled Hitoyo Sakazuki, and second titled Yuugi no Utage. Previously it listed that there would be twelfth and thirteenth episodes included, but was fixed after the airing of the final episode.

I'm so happy to hear this!
I came here looking for Natsume Yuujinchou Go episode 12 and I discover there's no such episode but a whole new season! I'm soooo happy about 2017 right now :)

Official site originally listed that there will be episodes 12 and 13 included for Go, but new information lists both special episodes. I guess these two special episodes replace the original episodes 12 and 13, but just bundles in different volumes.

I haven't even seen the anime yet, but I like the manga, and since everyone seems to love the latest season, this is only a good thing. I mean, how many anime get so many seasons?

I wish Medaka Box and Reborn would get that treatment.
