Just wtf Japan I seriously do not understand why the anime is selling so poorly. For my understanding Soccer is a very popular sport in the country so i would expect men who like the sport to like the anime as well. I do not understand why is it when an anime based on soccer is adapted it always sells poorly example Area no Kishi :/ now Days -_- But then you have sports anime Like Kuroko no Basuke or Haikyuu which aren't popular sports in Japan that sell fantastic mind you I have no issues with either anime but I'm very confuse on why Soccer anime is never well received in Japan D:

I haven't watched either Days or Area no Kishi, but sports anime typically do not do well, unless it features many male characters for which fujoshi (females who like BL, not all female fans are into this btw), can fantasize about with shipping pairings. It also needs to consist of ridiculous sports elements that aren't realistic in real life, because it's much more exciting to watch. I think the actual sport featured in an anime is mostly irrelevant.

Sorry for the late reply but thank you for answering my question well either way at least the anime I receiving a sequel so I'm happy about that it well deserves it!! Now my only worry is that Kiss him, not me won't sell as well as I thought it would.

Sunshine still going strong :)

Sansha Sanyou will break 2K next week, they should make it their flagship anime just like the manga.

Decent numbers from Yowamushi Pedal Spare Bike.

2k less than Re-Road.
3k less than Re-Ride.
13K less than Yowamushi Pedal The Movie.

Counting BD and Dvds together.

Sunshine is surprisingly still strong at this point, but it should be certain that vol 3 would face significantly lower sales.

The only thing that baffles me is the fact that more people preferred to watch the Day 2 concert according to the sales we're seeing. Aqours doesn't have a huge discography yet even when counting the bonus CDs from the BDs.
True, there will not be two setlists as they barely have enough songs for one setlist unless... they do something like add some Muse covers of Yume no Tobira or invite Saint Snow to be the opening act or something like that.

Perhaps they hope the second day will be more polished with the first day being more of a dress rehearsal? With Muse the second day was often more emotional as they didn't have to worry about performing the next day.

Or perhaps the second day is just more convenient.

I think @Ejc earlier mentioned the possibility of some who bought v1 waiting for those lottery results and if they don't win they'll buy v2. Not sure about that.

v3 and v4 not having tickets but v5-7 having them is odd but will have some effect. Overall the other bonuses are not as good as for Muse. Even LLSIP s1 had concert footage on even numbered discs plus Mobage serial codes and Weiss Schwarz cards rather than stickers and School Idol Collection cards. The bonuses are not nearly as enticing this time, just the bonus CD and a live action seiyuu silliness video really.

Congrats on Sunshine fans. 81k for vol.1 ^^

Edit:-
@Ejc Vol.3 when?

Nov 25 for Vol.3, and it's not looking too great on Amazon Stalker. Seems like Vol.3 might do somewhere between LL Season 1 and LL Season 2 in terms of first week sales, unless it has a big underestimation.

Nice sales bump for Vol.1 and Vol.2 in their 8th and 4th weeks respectively. I sure didn't expect Vol.2's week 4 to be more than double Vol.1's week 4.

Week number / Vol.1 Weekly sales / Vol.2 Weekly sales
*1 66,745 45,815
*2 *4,839 *5,716
*3 *2,682 *3,070
*4 *1,485 *3,941
*5 *1,645
*6 *1,211
*7 *1,358
*8 *1,965
