'Hibike! Euphonium 2' Blu-ray and DVD Includes Unaired Short Movie

The official website of TV anime Hibike! Euphonium 2, which began airing on October 6, revealed that the first Blu-ray and DVD volume will contain an unaired short movie titled Hanabi-taikai Kiss e Youkoso! (Welcome to the Fireworks Festival Kiss). The volume, which also includes the 48-minute debut special, will be released on December 21. The website lists seven Blu-ray and DVD volumes in total for the series.

Hibike! Euphonium 2 is the sequel to Kyoto Animation's 13-episode TV anime of the novel series written by Ayano Takeda. A movie based on the first season premiered on April 23, with its Blu-ray and DVD released on September 7. Previously, it also received special episodes bundled with the Blu-ray and DVD volumes of the TV series. The second season is currently being simulcast by Crunchyroll.

@kuuderu If they do adapt the ending of the second season fatefully we will let again be left with many open questions and relationship possibilities. For me the most growth the main characters received happened in the 3rd novel, and for some of the secondary characters in the side-stories in volume 4. I only hope--- more like pray that KyoAni doesn't do the same mistake as Hyouka, aka. to not animate the last novel >.>

There is much more to the story than few ambiguous moments between characters.
I simply don't care about those yuri baits, since it's not the reason I enjoy the show.
In case of Tamako Love Story this was a main theme, yes, it's a pure romance movie
so it would be really strange if it ended with nothing in this regard, like in Hibike S1.
As for Hibike S2.. I don't mind any ending as long as it's not too predictable.

Oh really? I hoped it to adapt the till the 3rd novel ... have you read the novels?

One season is not enough for two volumes I think. But yeah, I also wanted them to adapt 3rd novel for more growth of kumiko and some side characters .

So who? Goto-senpai and her girlfriend (sorry I forgot her name)? If it's Kumiko x Reina, the yuri bait will still bait us, the first episode made it more real than the supposed to be "real relationship". If they do a curve ball then they will insert Shuuichi in the scene like he's a damn bulldozer, fans will be angry for sure since I think his existence is not that strong to almost non-existent.

Oh, where did you learn about it? I heard a different thing in reddit about a different couple(and that's yuri one lmao). I don't think making it with shuichi will make any sense now after his role getting so much diminished in anime.
