The 18th volume of Yoshikadu Hamada's supernatural manga Tsugumomo, which will go on sale on September 12, will announce that the series will get an anime adaptation.

Synopsis
Kazuya Kagami never goes anywhere without the precious "Sakura Obi" his mother gave him. One day a beautiful, kimono-clad girl named Kiriha appeared before him, and began to live in Kazuya's room. Then there's Chisato, Kazuya's childhood friend with glasses and a ponytail, who likes to meddle with his affairs. Soon, there's also an overprotective sister who seems to want to take baths with him. Jumble in a huge-chested priestess, a good-looking sorceress named Kokuyoura, beautiful women, and hot girls, Kazuya's happy, embarrassing, and confusing life begins… (Source: AnimeSigma)

Tsugumomo is drawn by Yoshikazu Hamada, and has been serialized since November 2007 in COMIC SEED! web magazine before transferring to WEB Comic High! magazine in August 2008 due to the former discontinuing in June 2008. The series later moved to Monthly Action magazine with the first issue in May 2013 as a result of Futabasha integrating all of its web comic magazines into one (WEB Comic Action). Futabasha has published 17 volumes of the manga with the latest released in April 2016. JManga previously published first two volumes of the manga in English between August 2011 and March 2012 before ending its service in May 2013.

Eh, wouldn't say they nailed the style but it's close enough. I have very low expectations for this anime so I doubt I'll be disappointed.

I hate it already.

Not gonna lie, I have extremely low expectations for this. It feels like one of those works that doesn't translate to anime format well. That being said, I will probably watch this if only to see how it goes. Now, I am only waiting to hear which studio will produce this.

Nice. I guess I'll stick with this for now instead of the manga.

To be honest, i'm a bit surprised Tsugumomo get an anime adapt and feel happy at the same time.
Whatever the studio is, please don't ruin the epic action of this.

now, we only need a good studio to pick it

Good lord, there is no way they will do this manga justice. It's literally porn at this point. Anyway, at least I hope they do the action side of things well. Also, I love the art style. The author/artist is very talented.

This is good news for me. Then again,
... I hope they see this through until manga end

Don't really see anyone other than Xebec doing this, ideally.

Kind of curious what it's going to cover and where it'll end. I'm assuming it's a simple 1-cour adaptation that ends on no particular consequential plot point intended to boost manga sales, but part of me wants to see the final arc adapted or at least foreshadowed at the end.

I'll be watching this for updated staff and whatnot. I'm interested, mostly because the action in the manga was actually pretty good aside from all the trashiness. Seeing it in animated form might be a real treat with the right staff.

Can't expect they will actually air it without lot of fog/light censors. Madness, I say.

Not to mention it took quite some time before the plot kicks. Well at the very least I can watch the fights animated.

@tsubasalover, the circulation information of the manga should be corrected.

Wow, i didn't see this coming. Love the Manga, one of my favorite action harems. Will it be a TV or OVA adaptation? Hopefully it's a good adaptation. I can see "Production IMS" (EX: Shinmai Maou no Testament, Masou Gakuen HxH) producing this, it's right up their alley, it's a harem and extremely ecchi/borderline hentai. If it's on TV expect censorship or scenes being played down and i hope it's more than the standard 12 episodes series there's enough material to be in the 20 episode range.

Whenever it does come out, expect people (if not already) to make those shallow comparisons to other series due to the genre/target audience. And see those few people who don't like these type of series complain about the anime, but it's their own fault for not doing any research.

Now i need the manga to get licensed (like by Seven Seas, maybe).

Is this the ecchi that MAL needed, or the ecchi that MAL deserved?

Thank you Lorrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrdddddddddddddd !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That synopsis, it's gonna be good ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

The manga's ecchi is insane and so it's regarded as borderline hentai. The action scenes are sick too.

Apparently the author loves drawing ecchi. So much so that at one point he was complaining in the afterword about how his action scenes were eating into his passions.

Examples of said action scenes

Finally let's not forget the momentous hentai-like lines.

Hmm, this sounds actually pretty nice, count me in of course. Hopefully a good staff would get this.
