Second Cours of '12-sai.: Chicchana Mune no Tokimeki' to Air in Fall 2016

A display stand at the International Tokyo Toy Show 2016 booth for the 12-sai.: Chicchana Mune no Tokimeki anime revealed that a second cours of the series will air in the fall quarter of 2016 between October and December.

The current anime series, which has been airing since April, is scheduled to conclude with the twelfth episode on June 20. A rebroadcast of the first cours will air from July to September. The series adapts the shoujo romance manga 12-sai., which is drawn by Nao Maita and has been publishing in Shogakukan's Ciao magazine since 2012.

Anime DVDs of 12-sai. are also being released with issues of Ciao. The display stand indicates that new anime DVDs will be released with the magazine in the summer and fall quarters.

Because the OVA is still airing?

The TVA is gonna follow the OVA with some additional bonus content so I'm not surprised it's split cour since the 2nd season of the ONA is still airing at the moment.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that one (the OVA). Anyway, thank you for your explanation. I just thought about that because it's quite unusual to see how a good romantic-comedy anime series has been split up. :)

Isn't Nijiiro days more of a guy's perspective? While 12 sai is on a females perspective like most shoujo mangas and animes.

guys prespective in shoujo isn't that unique... most of their relationship and development also cliches as well, but i found nijiiro days much more entertaining because funnier, more belivable, and their cute moments doen't feel forced... that's why i said ironacaly since nijiiro days ahs less potential TBH

I'm not too impressed by this show tbh but good for the fans. It does have its heartwarming moments here and there.

pass.. other than the age, i found the character and stories cliched as fuck... yes sometimes they are cute, but cringeworthy most of times... i like nijiiro days more ironocaly..

First a sequel of Super Lovers now 12 Sai gets a 2 cour -dances- I can't believe it I'm so excited I'm really enjoying the anime a lot. I honestly wasn't expecting it cause of how low shoujo always sells in Japan but this is good news :D

Now to make my life even better would be Akatsuki no Yona, Sekaiichi Hatsukoi, Junjou and Love Stage getting sequels please Japan make it happen!!! Oh and Yuki wa Jigoku ni Ochiru no ka getting an anime adaption please !! The manga's so freaking good.
