Kimi ni Todoke should just end already.. It got so boring. I hope it ends soon. Then I can buy the complete set and read it in one go

Please edit for Keroro Gunsun, when I'm pressing at it, I'm getting Loveless page. Don't know why!

Kimi ni Todoke's sales have actually been eroding at a much faster pace than Bleach's. No volume ever sold this "little" in its first week pretty much ever since Oricon began publishing these sales. At one point (2011/2012), Kimi ni Todoke was selling 1.2 million units while Bleach was selling 800k.Today, the difference between them is probably less than 50k.

2012-13 peak to last year
Exorcist 800k to 650k: this year about 620k
Magi 700k to 600k: this year about 550k
Bleach 750k to 560k: this year about 520k
Ao no Exorcist and Magi as well have also dropped quite a bit....
This Bleach volume did slightly better than the last Magi volume...Magi has better legs so it'll end up selling more...

You could look at bright side like all bleach fans that its still doing decently(basically sales haven't dropped) or you could look at the bad side which is that it won't sell more than 550-600k in the end of the year which ... is almost 1/2 of what it used to sell in the past... blame Kubo tite for it.

Dunno how much the musical(that starts at the end of next month only actually..) affects sales but SnS has a Anime coming up ... so

Alot of series are also falling in sales e.g. kimi no todoke, NNT etc...
But everyone hones in on bleach, guess that's the price you pay for being mainstream.

Bleach kicks 400k, such a shame, it used to be one of the most popular manga and now it cant even reach 500k

Did kimi ni todoke go Yuri?! That would be interesting :D

I don't understand how such a good piece of literature as Bleach can have just that many sales. I would assume that at one point after Kubo dies, Bleach will be remembered as one of the greatest piece of literature ever created and Kubo will go in legend as the other great authors.

I can't wait until they will have Bleach taught in schools. Maybe the next generation will have the opportunity to learn about Bleach and what makes it so great, as well as about the author and what made Kubo's genius manifest itself in this series.

Thats thing with cooking mangas, its a big handicap thus to make it mainstream and I mean like the Big 3 used to be.

Everyone have different opinions but I think Nobunaga no Chef and Amaama to Inazuma are pretty good. Don't know any old cooking manga though.

Mod Edit: Modified quote of edited post.

Wow, I didn't know the manga for Kimi ni Todoke was still ongoing. This is why I'm hesitant to start new manga series. I don't want to end up reading several manga that will all take 10+ years before I see a proper conclusion.

The updates for manga translation are very slow lately seems like there is no group prepared to do it, currently translated till chapter101 so we are behind quite abit....
