Thank you for your answer. I have bought a lot of shoujo mangas so I don't know why it's not so popular on the top 10 list. At least now I know what the reason is.

I guess that Shoujo manga just don't sell that well in the states these days? Altough I have seen some in the top 10 throughout this year. If you really want for shoujo manga to do well then you should purchase more and tell people that you know to pick some up. That is of course if you have not done that already. Also Tokyo Ghoul is seinen.

Last week there was a shoujo in the list and the week before that there was a jousei

Its just that 70-80% of the list is always compeltely filled with shounen/seinen titles.

The last volume that made it into the New York Time's best sellers was volume #5 back in April 2014.

It sucks to see that Magi didn't make it once again. I picked it up during the release week to help it out a bit. Hopefully a future volume or maybe the latest release will make the list in the future.
