TV Anime 'Days' Reveals Cast and Key Visual

The official Twitter account of the upcoming TV anime Days has announced voice cast members of the series. Production staff members and the key visual were also revealed last month by Weekly Shounen Magazine.

The original manga series is drawn by Tsuyoshi Yasuda with 15 volumes in print. It was launched in Weekly Shounen Magazine in April 2013 and was nominated as Best Shounen Manga in the 39th Kodansha Manga Awards.

@yuliyana29: Just saw the first timeslot. Nothing yaoi-worthy about it. It's just stretching.

There's no such things as yuri and yaoi undertones unless characters do stuff like in Big Windup, like literally saying "I like you!" in a platonic way. Then, yes, it can be implied as BL/GL undertones.

edit- Watched the second timeslot you mentioned. It's just intimidation. Unless you think that two people going up close is supposed to be fanservice?

Will watch because I love sport Anime and Daisuke Namikawa will be in it .
But disappointed Yoshitsugu is also in it.. His voice bothers me. :/

football ? no girl ? not interesting. i can watch that kind of stuff on tv too. i almost see it everyday. so a boy playing football feel kinda boring to me.
if a football with girls and boys in the same team, now that is interesting. No big boobs btw.

There's only 28 translated chapters so far so maybe it's too early to tell but I haven't seen anything too ridiculous yet.

Yes it's a sports anime but it's adapted from an otome game which as the name tells is aimed of girls. Days is a shounen manga which is still aimed at guys. Just like Haikyuu, KnB, YowaPeda etc. They are technically not aimed at girls but they still have a huge fujoshi fanbase.

I don't deny that. Yes, it's a sports anime. But just because it's sports anime doesn't mean it shouldn't have something for girls right? ^^

Heck, second seasons of YowaPeda, KuroBasu, Gintama, Haikyuu!! etc. wouldn't have been made if not for the females in Japan buying them.

But other than PoSA and Free!, all other sports anime are from shounen manga, including this one.

It's something like how mahou-shoujo anime is aimed at young girls but many male otaku enjoy it as well.
