Wow you wrote so much just because I assumed SnK is on a decline. And see, I do reply to you. Why so angry over something like this? I don't argue that the latest One Piece volume isn't doing well in comparison to the last one, yeah thats right. But to say that a whole series is on a decline because 1 volume sold like 30 or 40k less than the last one, especially in the case of One Piece, where that much doesnt make a difference because the volumes sell in the millions. Also the volume 76 sold incredibly well, then volume 77 and 78 didnt do that well, but then again volume 79 did very good and now volume 80 not doing so good. So this means that the there will some differences in sales. And some Volumes will sell more than others. The next volume could very well be selling more then previous one. But the important thing is that it always stays around 3.2 million a year per volume. and I bet that this volume will be around that level too Even if they sell worse than the previous ones its only a slight difference and they can always sell more with the next one.

So just because someone said that one piece sales has decline, you're going to pick on snk? Also those same points you made about one piece can easily apply to snk as well. So to me it felt like you just wanted to direct your frustration on snk. Last year a lot of people said the snk volumes has decline in sales. Look how that turn out.

I didnt pick on Snk, why would I? Even if the volumes were selling less it would still be nr 2 and thats incredibly impressive. I just assumed that Snk had lower sales with this volume because of the limited edtion, because somebody said that this volume sell better than the other ones.

Kinda funny how quickly he will say snk is in a decline, but when people point op isn't selling as fast as the previous volume he has 100 excuses.
100?

Hmm can you list me 10 atleast?

Not to mention the fact that we have no idea how much the limited edition Ilof volume 18 is at right now. It only appeared on the list in the first week then drop off the list the week after. But with no knowledge on its exact sales it would be stupid enoigh to say snk is on a decline.

Remember how everyone was saying snk was on a decline last year? when in actually the individual volumes sales has improved from the 2013 sales. Too bad we didn't get to see just how much the limited edition sold for volume 15 and 16. But going by the first half sales Im pretty sure they sold over 300k at least.

Remember when everyone was saying that Snk will be nr. 1 2014 after they saw the half year sales. Yeah people can be wrong sometimes.

And as you said before, the regular edition of volume 17 and 18 are selling way faster than the other volumes that had the limited edition ova's. Which shows that less people bought the keychain limited edition for these volume and just bought the regular edition instead.

Volume 17 is already close to 1.8million and it's only February! Snk best volume last year didn't reach this feat until may! So the sales are actually stable, if we consider why volume 18 is selling so fast. Decline my ass. Its not snk fault that one piece isn't selling as fast as you may like it to be, go vent your frustration on something else.

Oh One Piece is definitely selling as fast as I want it too, because thats the maximum a manga can probably reach.

@AdmiralKizaru98 I don't even hate one piece, but your double standard knows no bounds. One piece isn't selling as fast as previous volumes, why aren't you saying one piece is in decline as well? Snk is a tricky one since it has a limited edition, who knows how much it has sold right now.

Also I'm not a person that is quick to say a series is in decline. I would rather wait for the year to end before making that conclusion, since a volume of a series not selling as fast as the previous volume could mean people are simple not rushing to buy this volumes. Also folks don't drop a series like that after investing so many money on previous volumes. Can you imagine someone dropping one piece for eg. After buying over 80 volumes? The series must do something really bad to make a hardcore fan stop following the series. So I don't think one piece is in a decline, people are just not rushing out to buy this volume.
Didnt you just say a pragraph before that One Piece on a decline? And now you tell me that we dont know until the year is over.

You probably won't reply to me because You know what I'm saying is right,Idk, but I just got to take this off my chest. People call me a snk fanboy, but even I can still be rational and try to be unbias as much as possible.

I think that most of the sales lost from the LE are recovered in the RE so overall it's stable.

It's February. The last week of January and first two weeks of February are almost always like that. It's a slow period in Japan since it follows the very busy December and Early January periods (New Years celebrations). There are rarely any important releases at this time. Look at the thresholds for the corresponding three weeks in 2013-2015 (Before 2013, we had a Top 30 rather than a Top 50 so no comparison can be made then):

After 7 weeks:

11. 31,537 2,896,398 One Piece Vol.76
23. 26,085 2,735,955 One Piece Vol.77
23. 47,473 2,748,081 One Piece Vol.78
20. 30,437 2,786,253 One Piece Vol.79
22. 22,712 2,726,710 One Piece Vol.80

Unless the movie gives it a good boost, vol.80 will sell less than all of the volumes released last year, especially volume 76.

After 10 weeks:
40. 16,577 1,751,791 Shingeki no Kyojin Vol.17
41. 16,360 1,766,096 Shingeki no Kyojin Vol.18

About as much as the last one. It will probably hit 1.9m+ at the half year point and 2m+ at the end of the year.
Aot is on a decline, if you consider the limited edtions the volumes sell less than the one released before.

A Sales decline for OP and AoT don't mean much to me since both are still miles ahead of the competition.

Slow week again. Good thing about slow weeks is that more manga you may not have heard of or your faves pop up. Take Tenkuu Shinpan, never heard of it but looking into it and it sounds like my cup of tea.

11. 32,351 *,*32,351 Monster Musume no Iru Nichijou Vol.9
43. 15,236 *,*32,035 Hantsu x Trash Vol.9

Fab to see Hantsu x Trash up there again, just ordered my copy. Also fab to see MonMusu up there with only 2 days sales, expecting it to hitl over 100k next week.

Yes but the sales of the limited edtitions are counted into the overall sales

Yea, I know that as well. But I wanted to see how well it sold per volume. For eg. Volume 12 sold 2.28 million with the limited edition included in 2013. I wanted to see how well last year volume sales to the previous year volume sales. I'm sure volume 15 has sold more than volume 12, but I dont know how exaxctly how well it sold because the limited edition didn't make it in the top 100.

@MysticLeviathan I know that it still has a bit of boost left, I was just saying if it didn't have so many volumes then it wouldn't be that much.

@toutoune134 Thanks I will check it out.

@AdmiralKizaru98 I know snk came 3rd last year. I was talking about its limited edition sales. It didn't make it in the top 100 per volume sales and the cutoff point was over 400k. So I wanted to know how much exactly snk volumes sold overall when Including the limited edition sales as well.
