'Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon Crystal: Death Busters-hen' to Premiere in Spring 2016

The official site for Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon has revealed that the previously announced third arc of the series, titled Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon Crystal: Death Busters-hen, is set to premiere in Spring 2016. In addition, the new series will be directed by Chiaki Kon (Junjou Romantica), and the characters will be designed by Akira Takahashi (DokiDoki! Precure). New cast members will be announced via Niconico Live on January 27.

The original manga, drawn by Naoko Takeuchi, was serialized in Nakayoshi from 1991 to 1997. It completed with eighteen compiled volumes. The original anime series premiered in 1992 and finished in 1997, receiving a total of four sequels. Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon Crystal is a remake of the original TV series, which aired biweekly on Niconico from Summer 2014 to Summer 2015. Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon Crystal: Death Busters-hen will adapt the "Death Busters" arc, which was covered in the fifth and sixth volumes of the manga.

This looks great!! Quite an improvement.

....but yeah, I'll wait for the dub....because Kotono's voice hurts my ears. XD Dubbed Usagi is WAY more easy to listen to; she's quite cute.

Since i just finished black Moon arc on Crystal yrsterdzy i think It translates my bitterness though the art was better than the horrendous dark kingdom arc. Basically as a ONA i understand the anime was not a priority (dbz, one piece, precure) i don't care i CAN enjoy the new merch.

But since there is a new production the light is back. I think they look better on the visual key. More moe-ish, way cuter.

I've heard that they've changed the character designer, and that's what I hoped for. Girls seem a little bit more moe and chubby than before, in Crystal they were too damn skinny and anorectic :(

Now they at least look attractive :3

Oooh, looks very nice. This is definitely a big change from the first season. I'll probably check out the first few episodes, given they don't air bi-weekly.

Not excited for a second season, but I do think this poster looks nice. I didn't like the designs of season 1, so this is an improvement.

Toei doesn't treat Sailor Moon very well anyway, so not having any high expectations for this. As long as it's no longer biweekly, I'll probably watch this as it airs because marathoning didn't really work in the first season's favor for me.

Oh my god i can't wait first seasons were amazing. And im happy that there will be the outer senshi! Hope that there will be an arc with the Dead Moon Circus ( Amazon Trio and Quartet ) and the Sailor Stars arc. ^ ^
