'Joker Game' Cast and Staff Announced, to Premiere in Spring 2016

The official Twitter account for Production I.G's upcoming anime adaptation of Joker Game has announced the cast members for the TV series, which is slated for Spring 2016. Previously announced staff members are also included.

The anime adaptation will be based on the novel of the same name written by Koji Yanagi. The novel was published in 2008, and Koji Yanagi received the Mystery Writers of Japan award the following year. Last Waltz is the latest novel in the Joker Game novel series.

This looks promising in terms of style and presentation, but the fact that it is all-male cast is offputting and feels like they are trying to get fujoshi audience via that to ensure the sales.

The original was a manga which got turned into live-action which got turned to a novel (novel is based on the live-action).
Which are they adapting? No idea.

? you've got it completely backwards. the first Joker Game novel came out in 2008, the manga started running in 2009. The live-action came out in theatres early 2015.

Anyway, the staff is credible I suppose, I'm hoping for some mind games judging by the title. Spring looks incredibly good.

That kind of speech makes me laugh every time.
You gave a 4/10 to another. And that's the only one I checked. On the contrary, you gave 10/10 to Kino no tabi, haruhi, baccano, mondaiji, baka to test, Index, denpateki na kanojo, Tsuioku, jinrui ga suitai shimashita, hyouka,, and I stopped there because there's to much.

Guess what, Another is a "novel" and all the others are "light novels". I think there's more than 20 LN adaptation in your list with a 10/10.

And that's always like that for peoples looking down to the word "ln" compared to the word "novel". They don't know what is what, and what is the difference either.
Bandwagon opinions with no knowledge. Other criticize LNs so I'm doing the same. In before others saying the same crap as always.
LN or novel, this has no relationship with quality or originality.

I sure hope this show actually pulls off a compelling mystery story. My expectations are rather low after watching Ranpo Kitan, Sakurakou and Perfect Insider...
Please be better than those.
