18 Meter Banner of Evangelion 2.0 Put Up For a Charity Auction

According to Mainichi Online, a 18 meter long banner of "Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance" was put up for a charity auction. An autograph of the director Tsurumaki Kazuya is written on it.

It's a special event to celebrate that the movie has drawn more than two million audience. A three meter long banner was also put up for the auction. The sales of the auctions will be donated to Japan Committee Vaccines For The World's Children.

The box-office receipt of Eva 2.0 has reached three billion yen ($31.5 million), which well larger than that of 1.0 (two billion yen).

I guess this will be self-selective in a way since the only people who'll be able to afford the inevitably huge price tag are those with big enough houses to hang it up.

Or I guess they could put in on the floor and use it as a gigantic carpet.

I am going to guess 30,000-50,000 yen but it is probably a lot more expensive..
