I'd be surprised if Tokyo Ghoul wasn't number one. The first day it was available at my local comic book shop, copies were just flying off the shelves!
Lol, Tokyo Ghoul, No surprise. They are literally sold out already at the place where I buy my books lol
Yeah, it is even outsold on Book Depository, they still don't have it anywhere.
And it was selling really well on Amazon too.

LMAO..XD
but why not Vol.2 or Vol.3..? are they lost somewhere..?
I think it's because many people try to get into the series, from word of mouth and hype, but not all of them, continue with the manga.
in 2014, Attack on titan vol.1, total sales were = 54,520
vol 2, total sales = 37,266
Also the art wasn't that great in the 1st volume. People might have been turn off from the art.

Guess Death Note manga is selling again thanks to the upcoming live-action series.
Nice to see Seraph on the list. The manga artwork is just lovely.
Agree with it! I am happy that Owari is not just only popular in Japan but already in outside of it as well. It seems the anime really did something good out of it.
I really love the art style and how the story goes. Makes me think many theories and make me cry each chapter~
