Charlotte on MAL

Update December 30
Dengeki G's February 2015 issue announced further details about the upcoming Key x P.A.Works anime. The story will focus on four characters in the student council, one of which is a member of one of two bands in the series. The songs sung by the bands will be rock, and the vocalists will be female. Unlike Angel Beats!, the characters' seiyuu will sing for their characters. Jun Maeda will produce all OP, ED, and insert songs for the series (composition and lyrics). The story be somewhat similar to Angel Beats!, but will focus more on each character. The first half the series will be calm, and then it will progress with vigor.

Two characters were also revealed: Yuu Otosaka, who looks like an A student but is not good at studying; and, Nao Tomori, the student council president who is very firm and studious, but has behavior problems.

Update January 29
The March issue of Dengeki G's magazine revealed more character information. It seems like the characters have superpowers, but they are not used for battle.

Yuu Otosaka: For five seconds, he can control any body. He uses his power to cheat via honor students.

Nao Tomori: She can disappear, though it is limited to certain people.

Joujirou Takashou: He can instantly move from one place to another, but cannot stop in the middle of the move.

Yusa Nishimori: She can possess only her sister, Misa, to perform spiritualism.

Four of them are on the student council. Their special powers are activated only when "certain boys and girls reach adolescence." The school "Hoshi no Umi Gakuen" is a special school for understanding special powers. The student council uses their special powers to take care of problems caused by other students with special powers. Takajou is almost the same as Takamatsu from Angel Beats!. Saitou, Key's fooling-around character, also appears in Charlotte.

Idk how to put it... but i think the character on the description is a little bit... hm, unappealing...
the one on the banner is good though

* I reach the point when i give up on Rewrite anime adaptation, Yanagi Nagi-sama's voice is enough for me (^-^)

Angel beats wasnt rushed.

It just sucks. Because the guy who directed it is the human manifestation of mediocrity.

The fact that hes not involved here means this might be something special.

Sounds like an Angel Beats x K-On crossover :3

Only a week after confirmation and people are already speculating this will be on the pseudointellectual club's "Do Not Watch" list if it does well :)

LOL MAL!

OT: I'll watch, looking forward to it. I hope it does well. PA Works has been great lately, looking right at you, Shirobako.

wow angel beat is actually hated

this is news to me

Pretty much everything is hated to some degree on this site.
Indeed

Though I wouldn't say it's generally straight-up hated, it's just pretty much a fact that the anime was very rushed due to certain production issues it had, can't argue with that part. Merely that some people loved the show anyway whereas for others it got totally ruined by it.
