No, I didn't write Kizumonogatari and Tsukimonogatari.

I'm writing TSUGImonogatari(接物語) and not TSUKImonogatari(憑物語). TSUKImonogatari is the first volume of Final Season, NOT TSUGImonogatari.

TSUGImonogatari was just announced not long ago in Zoku Owarimonogatari.

Why do people confuse 接物語 with 憑物語?

Sorry, my mistake I was thinking of existing books. I thought you meant you were looking forward to the anime adaptation of Final Season of which Tsukimonogatari would be the first book so I read it incorrectly.

I'm not sure if Tsugimonogatari is actually going to be the name of it. We shall see. From the first chapter of it that came with Zoku Owarimonogatari and the accompanying explanation of how many times he's considered ending Monogatari, Okitegami Kyouko no Biboroku seems to be the title of the next one, not Tsugimonogatari. I'm not sure if he was being literal about "Next Season" and "Tsugimonogatari" or if he just meant "the next story" there. I guess we'll find out if he writes a book entitled Tsugimonogatari one day.

Something like that, either way they always sell like 2 million copies per volume. Nothing outsells One Piece.

No, he didn't write Kizumonogatari. He wrote Tsugimonogatari which is the first book of Final Season.

But it is quite separate from Tsugimonogatari though of course... related... but I won't spoil it here. Final Season anime is going to be awesome! Honestly for something that is a re-release (umpteenth time) of something that came out decades ago and the anime hasn't even come out yet I think that's a pretty showing to rank even once. A second week when they sold 33K last week was unlikely as most people buy them the day they come out.

Watch for them again after the anime starts.
