Toonami To Air 'Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann'

It was announced on Toonami's official Tumblr on Saturday that Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann will start airing on Adult Swim's Toonami starting August 16th. It was announced in a Toonami Q & A video.

While I'm excited to watch it, 2AM is a kinda eh time slot. Not that it's TERRIBLE, but I'd rather watch AoT/SD/TTGL first, then Bleach/Naruto/OP. But you know, gotta have the "Big 3." :/

Will watch for sure! The last time I saw the show was when Bandai had all the dubbed episodes up on YouTube.

The other day I tried to show some relatives the movie and they called it boring. Gurren lagann is a lot of things, but boring isn't one of them. Anyway, totally gonna watch this.

Woohoo! More people get to witness the epicness of TTGL! Adult Swim/Toonami is really stepping up their game with SnK, Black Lagoon, and now TTGL.

Code Geass did show on adultswim for like 4 years. Toonami and Adultswim are both apart of same channel (Cartoon Network) . I don't understand why a lot of people think it's a separate channel. Knights of Sidonia art is an acquired taste, (I just put up with it but lets be honest it's not very good) a lot of people would not like it. They mostly show battle/action anime so Stein Gate would be out of the picture.
