'Space☆Dandy' Gets 2nd Season for Summer 2014

An announcement made at AnimeJapan 2014 reveals that Space☆Dandy is a split cour. The second season of the series will begin airing Summer 2014. More information on the second season will be revealed at a later date.

The first season began January 2014 and is still currently airing.

I think the anime is great. You can go on not liking it though, but I can't agree that the comedy is forced and art is bad

I heard the seasons finale was this week. Good, to here more episodes are coming. Hope they air the other episodes. My recorder deleted the first 3. So I would like to see watches those again. Or just buy the DVD when it comes out.

I was a little skeptical of the show during the first few episodes, but as the season goes on, I'm becoming more and more pleased with it. Glad to see a second season coming!

Has there been any news as to what will happen with Space Dandy's time slot after the final episode airs this week? I could see them replaying the first season again, but that wouldn't be a good idea IMO, since it's the leading show

Tokyo is probably his focus rather than dandy, dandy probably is the least amount of work hes put into directing an anime because each episode of the series has a guest director and different script writer while hes just the general director that oversees all of the episode. the guest directors are probably the ones pulling the most work.
