Two New Gundam Movies Announced

According to the Mobile Suit Gundam 35th Anniversary Press Conference, held on March 20th, two new Gundam movies were announced. The first movie is Gundam G no Recoguista which will premiere Fall 2014, and the second movie is Gundam the Origin I: Aoi Hitomi no Casval (the first of a 4-part movie) which will premiere Spring 2015.

G no Recoguista
The main character of the movie is Beruri Zenamu. He is a pilot cadet of the Capital Guard, a society to protect the space elevator during the "Reguild Century."

Origin I: Aoi Hitomi no Casval
The movie will animate the Shar Seira arc first, with a total of 4 episodes. Yasuo Miyagawa from Sunrise mentioned that there are also plans to animate the rest of the arcs.

From the PV, the world looks much more advanced than that of Gundam 00 (though it does give me the same feeling at the end of Awakening of the Trailblazer).
Could it possibly be a prequel to Turn A?

I belive it was 2012 in particular that had next to no mecha.

'13 had a few more, and now we've got a torrent of them.

2012 was pretty bad, only Gundam Unicorn and EVA 3.0 were good imo.

I'm going to operate under the assumption that Reconquista is a series until we hear confirmation otherwise. Either directly or hearing from Bandai what their plans for a fall Gundam series would be.

after doing some digging and talking with a fansubber on /m/ Tomino actually said its geared towards adults about adults in a nuclear world.

Let's hope so i was getting a Gundam AGE feeling there lol. Not sure why it could be the art for the characters. Origin indeed caught my interest :)

Need confirmation on that. During the press conference all they said was Origin is to be a 4 part OVA starting with Char and Sayla's backstory. They never said it was 4 parts of Casval's arc.

In fact "Gundam the Origin I: Aoi Hitomi no Casval" really makes it seem there's only gonna be 4 in total, why would it be called "Origin I: Casval" if there were to be 4 of them of Casval?

my body is ready for this one just only wish that they had made a tv serie instead of doing it like unicorn and make us wait years after each episodes. well they did say that they have plans to continue animation of the rest of the arc which is a good thing.
