'Toriko' Anime to End on March 30

It has been announced that Toriko will be ending its run on March 30th, after which the new Dragon Ball Kai (2014) anime will make its debut. The remastered Dragon Ball anime will take Toriko's time slot beginning April 6, 2014.

The Toriko TV anime, which first premiered in 2011, will end just short of 150 episodes.

I haven't caught up with the anime yet, but this is still sad news. I find this anime to be rather enjoyable and fun.. hopefully it will comeback again later.

I always watch Toriko right before any big family dinner, like the ones for Christmas or thanksgiving. It always makes me very hungry, and the all the food way more enjoyable. This is why I am sad to see it end. (´･ω･`)

this epic manga just needs an adoptation by madhouse studio instead of toei

madhouse remade hxh so i also hope they will remake toriko

CRAP!! just when it was getting seriously awesome. aaarh. and for what? a remastered version of the gorilla mouse. kai should have been left for dvd\bd sales only i.m.o. toriko will be back.. but only after a fairly tail like cliffhanger. booo toei! boooo

I'm glad the Toriko anime is ending, it was a disgrace to the manga. Toei animation are getting spoiled those bastards, they got the most budget out of any company yet they mess around with 2 of the best series in shonen jump. They have no excuse whatsoever for the kind of animation One Piece had in Punk Hazard, atleast now Toriko will get picked up by a company that knows how to adapt a series properly.
I hope Madhouse starts over Toriko like HxH.

A lot of Manga readers have been hating on it.... but I've found it thoroughly enjoyable. (.... I haven't read the manga)

I feel like this is more of a hiatus than an end since it's catching up with the manga. I'm curious if it'll do an original anime ending, or follow the manga.

Guys dont worry, i think because the anime almost caught up to the manga, they decided to put it on hiatus and air dbzkai meanwhile. And once kai is over they will put toriko back.

And the Toriko manga is truly epic. its the fault of toei that they cencored all the blood and gore, added a filler character and even changed the story.

so the manga is epic but it got a bad anime adoptation

Tried the anime out and it was too censored and added new characters that weren't in the manga.

The manga is great tbh, don't judge a series off it's shitty adaptation.
