'Cardfight!! Vanguard' Fourth Season to Air Spring 2014 and Anime/Live-Action Film Announced

At the recent "Cardfight!! Vanguard Special Conference," it was announced that Cardfight!! Vanguard will be receiving a fourth TV anime series titled Cardfight!! Vanguard Legion Mate-Hen and will air Spring 2014. This announcement supports Kidani Takaaki's previous statement that the series would go to at least a fifth season.

The event also announced that a hybrid anime/live-action movie for the series will be released Fall 2014.

Simple, it's a show based on a card game. A card game that is very popular with kids in Japan at the moment, and Bushiroad can still use the anime as a means of advertising the card game. It's not going to be stopping any time soon.

I really dont see how this idea of anime gets four seasons while other anime's 10 times better than this can't even get a second season. Who even watches this anime , seriously all they do is repeat the same concept each season in a different way and they drag it out,

The show isn't anything too spectacular; it likely won't wow you. It doesn't even get close to the supernatural levels Yugioh gets to (except season 3 to an extent now). However, it is a fun show to kick back and relax while watching it. The beginning of season one is essentially learning how to play the game along with the main character. The second half of season one does get pretty intense surprisingly though. If you're a huge TCG fan, you will probably find this show very enjoyable (like me). Regardless, give the first episode a shot.

Well, I'm pretty early in the third season, but I'll be there eventually.

As for the movie, I have mixed feelings on it. If I watch it, it'll be or the animated part, and not the live-action portion.

It's a so very average kid's card game. It is kinda like Yu gi oh, but it's more normal and less supernatural. But like I said, don't expect anything great, it's just as average as you can get.

Season 2 was kinda shitty for me also at least compared to season 1. However, Link Joker is pretty much at the core of its plot right now and is decent enough. The first 20 or so episodes is a bit slow though.

Yeah...Asia Circuit really wasn't very good imo. I would say that I clawed my way through that season. Joker-hen has been quite enjoyable though. Like season 1, I actually look forward to the episode each week.

Agreed that Joker-hen is a really enjoyable season to watch. The second season was okay though. Can't wait for the fourth season.
