'Blue Exorcist' to Begin Airing on Toonami Beginning March 2014

On Toonami's official Tumblr page, an announcement has been made that Toonami will begin to air "Ao no Exorcist" (Blue Exorcist) beginning in March.

The "Blue Exorcist" anime originally aired back in April 2011 and ended in October 2011.

Good to know they're gonna add another show to Toonami.
Even though I watched both sub and dub versions I wouldn't mind re-watching it again.

Lol I had this anime on my watch list for the longest time but I'm not planning on watching it on Toonami because it'll be dubbed. But now I don't even know if I want to watch it at all since everyone is saying it's overrated. On the other hand I agree with whoever said they should air Steins;Gate instead of the typical action shounen anime.

I can't see Aoi no Exorcist being a hit though for the Toonami audience, it did well in Japan only because of the Fujoshi audience supporting it. Think many are going to think it's somewhat of a Bleach ripoff and won't care too much about it.

But yeah Fate/Zero should be in Toonami, so too should their most requested anime Attack on Titan be in it. Both are Aniplex series so there's not much excuse for Toonami not to be able to get them on air.

Yeah I second this. Or Stein's Gate.
Toonanmi really needs to stop with the shounnen stuff. I'm not a fan of Blue Exorsist I thought it was boring, cheessey and lame. but what ever, the kids seem to like it.

As long as Toonami brings in newer stuff I guess I can put up with most of its crap.

Airing battle shounen/balls-to-the-walls action shows are what Toonami is really known for, so expecting something like Steins;Gate to show up is pretty silly. Fate/Zero on the other hand might work out well enough.

I would defently tone in to watch this on toonami if it wasnt dub. Jeez toonami needs to start airing sub anime, im sick of hearing these cringeworthy dub acting on tv, americans need to be exposed to subbed anime on tv

Dude, I hope F/Z will make it to Toonami someday. But yeah, now I have a reason to watch Blue Exorcist...depending on the time. I need to stop pulling all nighters.

Yay! I'm such a fangirl when it's come to this, though I admit it's a bit overated.The generic premise and all.For some reason I really like the exorcist and demon hunting archetype.So excited when this air! Wonder what time will it air?

It's glad to see Toonami/Adult Swim finally progressing with new shows and not just rehashing Bebop & Inuyasha, over and over. As much as I love Bebop and liked Inuyasha, you need fresh material to bring in people.
