So...another thing I have to watch because everyone and their mother will be talking about even though it's only average entertainment value?

I'll care once the english dub of Code Geass R2 finishes airing, and also when this new anime series has been licensed by an American company and has started being english dubbed.

Cool story.

What are you trying to say, that the english dub voice actors would fail?

Humm, I had an feeling this would happen.
Depending on how sunrise does this; it could go either way. I'd like a prequel of sorts so... humm. We shall see ~

maybe they'll make a new one with some of the characters as a supporting characters of hear their name in a new series or they'll do a prequel or a sequel

It'll probably end up being a movie. *shrugs* won't watch it either way...

new CG? cant wait to see it...
Maybe Code Geass -Hangyaku no Suzaku...lol

Maybe it'll become like the gundam series...Geass but in a different time or era with changed settings and plot. That would be tight!

Jan 24, 2009 12:14 AM by kenny35

lol, you never know...they might just pull a destiny on us, with some "i am justice!" psycho main character who ends up screwing up the world, with lelouch and C.C. later being revealed as not dead and coming back with a new knightmare to team up with suzaku, saving the world... -.-'
sound familiar, anyone?

anyway, lets stop with the R2 flaming..seriously, its not that bad, and definitely still much better than most of the anime we have seen this year. Right?
and that, my friends, was meant to a a rhetorical question...

lol wtf? CG is finished, why even try to ruin great series with some sort of warmed up cutlet?? :/

Lelouch: You must watch Code Geass!
MAL: Yes, your Highness!

At least I will watch it. It's not like I'm expecting anything better than 1 and R2, but it couldn't hurt watching it.

An alternate universe is great. A prequel with C.C. as protagonist is also interesting. Considering Gundam, anything is possible with relations to the Geass animes. After all, they are both made by the amazing Sunrise!

Even though R2 was pretty bad I would still watch the new season if it came out but i can't imagine it without Lelouch.

which is why it has to be a prequel, or the start of a code geass franchise, without lelouch

It was never explained how Charles had obtained the immortality geass ability. However, when Lelouch obtain the enhanced geass abilities (both eyes had geass symbols), he was able to kill an "immortal" geass user. Wouldn't that made him immortal as well? Besides, C.C. is still alive and travelling.. However, a new season on the Geass universe shouldn't be limited to the conflict with Britannia, it should be something more awesome.. Or rather to say, the battle with the Holy Britannia Empire had came to an end by the end of R2.

The story is over.
