New TV Anime Tayutama Announced [Updated on Dec 25]

According to the newest issue of TECH GIAN magazine, the adult PC game Tayutama -kiss on my deity- has been announced to get a TV anime adaptation. It will be aired in the spring of 2009.

Synopsis:
Mito Yuuri is a high school boy living in Hachiei shrine, which is dedicated to a god named "TayuTayu-sama". One day, a strange ruin is found at the construction site of the playground of his high school. Yuuri accidentally summons the god and releases the sealed spirit "Tayutai". Next day, a girl called Mashiro appears and announces to him and his classmates "Now is the time to realize the 500 year long dream. Let's bring a world where humans and Taytai can live together, my darling!"

Oh come on master, the majority of stuff out there is unoriginal, seriously originality is totally overrated and most of the stuff you think is original just ripped it from something you haven't seen before or a obscure source.

I'll always value execution over originality, execution is why Kannagi is so much better than Oinari-sama for example and this show looks to be rather similar to those two.

I am expecting a new season of Kannagi.. A romantic comedy that is related to deities, this concept is getting popular.

The art of the game looks nice. The plot doesn't seem to be very original though. Many animal deities around lately.
