Fifth Season of Digimon To Premiere

The fifth season of Digimon: Data Squad premieres tonight (October 1st) at 8:30pm (EST GMT -5) on the Toon Disney channel during Jetix. The new season brings new characters with a more mature storyline. It follows much of the previous plots in that Marcus, a 14 year-old, and his digimon battle digimon that intrude on the human world. Digimon favorites (such as Agumon - which appeared in the first season) will also be included. This season is the first season released in English since October of 2005. For more information: ANN.

I didn't really like Digimon Savers that much when I watched it fansubbed so obviously I'm not going to be checking out the dub.

Won't this crap end!? I watched the first season and then dropped some time during the second. Just wannabe pokemon in my opinion. At least pokemon was based on a game which provided it a bit story material... -___-

Tamers was 3rd... and was, frankly, the best that I saw. I've not seen 4th or 5th yet, but I will eventually.

Well...they're still pumping out pokemon episodes, so since digimon has a better storyline, makes no sense not to.

Ah and i watched all the seasons of digimon but the fourth. Or was it the third?

Watched season 1, but even back then my mind could not take the idiocy that was season 2 on.

pffff i only watched the original digimon and digimon 02... and that was... soooo long ago o__O like 8-9 years wow... its been longer than i thought =__= im OLD!

Ah, glad to see it announced here. Looking forward to it, I guess. No matter what the dub has done to it, they said the first episode still delivers.
