Kite sequel expected early next year.

Kite Liberator, the sequel to the 1998 Kite is expected to be released from Media Blasters in the first half of next year. You can watch a trailer at the Media Blasters website.

In many ways, it's similar to Gunslinger Girl, another anime which I thoroughly enjoyed for it's simultaneous portrayal of tragedy and hope for a better future.

It's about time.

Even though Mezzo Forte was enjoyable on its own, its story was nowhere close to being as memorable as Kite's.
