Manga 'Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun' to End

According to CrazyJapanNews's scan of a page from Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun's 11th volume, manga Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun was announced to end in its 12th and final volume. The manga was serialized for a little over four years in Dessert shoujo magazine, and its anime adaptation aired last season. The volume will include the previously announced OVA.

I don't think it is but no one listens. It is more exciting to complain that it is ending or say good it is ending now instead of dragging on. When volume 12 is not the last one we'll know who is right.

I'm pretty sad about this manga ending. It's one of my favorites. I think it was a unique one that really suited my taste. I was tired of typical shoujo manga scenarios, and this one made me laugh (a tonn), angry, and get teary eyed. I don't know, it's going to be hard letting it go. :/ I loved the art too. I don't think the anime was as good as the manga, although I really liked it. I think the author could continue this manga longer, but I guess running it for 4 years calls for something new for the author.

What the fuck? Do people actually support this couple?? Because that's the pairing that pisses me off the most and made no sense, along with Natsume's crush, making them the worst love triangle in the series.

Natsume should've just jumped on Haru and got it over with, or get a BAD END

Completely true. I thought making Haru confess CHAPTER ONE was the stupidest idea ever. Okay? What now? Though I liked the series, the storyline basically resetted with each progression.

Should've introduced Yamaken earlier. This series failed as a romance drama, but I loved it as a comedy series. Hopefully the author will be able to finish it up nicely.

Volume 11, the real Japanese book you pay for to support Robico and the industry came out on January 11th. It goes to chapter 44. The free, illegal scanlators that don't support Robico are only on chapter 37 of volume ten.

If you read my message above yours... I don't even think it is actually ending in volume twelve.

I think the news story is wrong. I bought volume 11 and it just says that the climax is coming. It doesn't say that volume 12 is the last one...

Well now that it's ending I guess that gives everyone a chance to read it all without expecting it to drag along forever.

imo while I'd like an s2 of the anime, chances are it's not going to happen.

Just because the manga is ending doesn't mean it won't get a second season, not like the first season covered all of the manga...
