The problem, as I see it, is that it requires extra effort for checking and blocking new posts for a thread as the decision of when to lock a thread has to be made by a human, and as I know the resource of the news team in MAL is very strained.

In that case;
The title is misleading.

This series is too early to become an anime. This will like have 25 episodes only.. considering the release of the manga and all... T_T no....

It's an original anime. Not an adaption from a manga.

If there's going to be an original anime ending, I hope they don't fuck it up. Though that's just wishful thinking, because I haven't seen a good original anime ending yet (except I guess FMA, but then again they really changed up the plot so that doesn't really count).
Yes, Thats is why i is infinitely better to simply cut the series at an appropriate point instead of screwing them.
Yet, some crowd will them complain about not having and ending, like they have done when series do this, like Deadman Wonderland, yet those people dont realize its infinitely better than screwing up the series for life a la claymore or gantz, the path is open for a sequel or one can simply jump to the manga if liked enough to do it.

Well, I guess Guilty Crown issues were more a matter of script than direction... When the source is bad there is a limit of what a director can do to make it better.
As long as I know, Araki Tetsuro is a director that knows how to give feeling to his works. Death Note was intense (and its intensity is often target of love or hate) and GC and HOTD indeed had good and strong action sequences.
This guy just need a good script to make a nice work - even if it won't turn into a masterpiece, it can be quite entertaining.
I'm glad there's actually a person here who knows what's the difference between a director and a script writer. Seriously, this is getting on my nerves. This poor director has people bashing on him because they hated the way Guilty Crown ended or just hated the series in general, but he had NOTHING to with the script. I commented about this on his page just a few minutes ago because he's getting so much hate for what he was not responsible for. I believe he is a great director, it's partially because of him that made Guilty Crown exciting to watch because of the way the scenes were "shot." (I quoted the word because there's technically no camera in animation...)
Anyways, sorry for my rant. I sincerely hope there are people who will read this because it's ridiculous that people anticipate this anime to be overhyped or will end badly because of the director. I'm not sure how well this will be animated or if they will give it an original anime ending (which I think is likely to happen), but we won't know until we see it. I personally am really anticipating this because I like the director and I LOVE the composer. And of course, I love the manga as well. If there's going to be an original anime ending, I hope they don't fuck it up. Though that's just wishful thinking, because I haven't seen a good original anime ending yet (except I guess FMA, but then again they really changed up the plot so that doesn't really count).

I like how the following series were directed: Aoi Bungaku, Death Note, and Highschool of the Dead. But yeah, I agree about the recent Guilty Crown thing. Hopefully, this gonna be good from those 3 series I've mentioned as I was just wishing of seeing another new work from this director.
