The top ten anime series on TV in Japan for the week of September 15th - September 21st are as follows:

I'd say that Sazae-san and Chibi Maruko-chan are up there because the audience is set to be generally all age group, unlike many other anime series.

I can't belive that Chibi Maruko-Chan became at 2nd rank. Welll, who could blame them? Chibi Maruko-Chan is very hilarious.

It's aired in the noitamina block.

It's a special airing block targeting female viewers 20-34 years old. The anime aired in this block always have a good rating.

I watched some Sazae-San on Youtube, and I have to say, it would be a GREAT series to view when either drunk or stoned.

It's way more fun to watch without subtitles too; I pretend the main characters are saying all kinds of crazy, derogatory, and outlandish things to one another.

It's definitely an enjoyable show.

It will be more interesting looking at Top 30 then top 10. Not much changes in top 10 up until now...

I'm shocked that Antique Bakery is up there . I mean, even if pokemon DP, naruto, etc didnt air.... of all the shows to pop up... Antique Bakery?!! All i can do is quote:
