Yep, it aired June 6th I think in theaters. There wasn't much ads for it. The only ads I saw were at the Theater itself on a TV monitor above the concession stand and another as a trailer before the movie.

Is it just me or when the movie played exclusively in theaters, there weren't much people.
I remember watching it and the theater wasn't even half full. you may think that the theater wasn't popular but its on yonge street (In Toronto Canada), the most busiest street in the city.

Um, they showed it in theaters? Haha, I honestly don't remember that, unless they didn't show it in my part of the US.
Ditto on the mousepad.

It was in theaters?!? Not anywhere near me. But anime never is near me. Although I was lucky enough to get to see FMA and Howls Moving Castle. Local theaters dropped the ball and didn't show GITS, though. I was so mad, but I digress. ^_^

I wanted to go watch it in theaters but on the day of it totally slipped my mind and no one else I knew remembered. It sucked that it was only for one day. I'll just watch it on Cartoon Network its much cheaper.
If I miss it again, then I'll buy the Mouse Pad one.

Probably in Canada, Naruto isn't popular... Or there wasn't enough publicity for it... Woot another Canadian! XD

I'd go for the mouse mat one, personally :)
I hope they do something like this over here, in Europe, for the movie's release in October ^_^
