Anime Movie of Historical Manga 'Kono Sekai no Katasumi ni' Announced

According to the tweet of writer Kubo Hideki, Kono Fumiyo's manga "Kono Sekai no Katasumi ni" (English Wikipedia) was announced to get an anime movie adaptation. The director is Katabuchi Sunao and the production studio is MAPPA.

This kind of anime is right up my alley. I just watched the live action drama of this and I loved it. I'm definitely watching the anime!

Will check out. I'd rather watch something "boring" than filled with unrealistic drawn breasts and basic ass guys getting fifteen million girls.

I'm looking forward to the movie! I'm glad it's a movie! It won't be too long and it'll have its potential. I love the art too! Historical is a bonus! ;)
